Waxing is probably one of the most annoying beauty treatments we have to undergo! There are so many hair removal methods, most of which are time consuming, can cost us a fortune for constant maintenance, and cause us pain. And yet we still do.

  • shaved off: May cause unsightly nicks and sensitive skin and shaving rash.
  • thread: It itches a bit and the area around the eyebrows may turn pink for a few hours.
  • whitening: This only dyes the hair and does not remove it. A tingling sensation while the bleach is working is normal, but not too painful.
  • Plucking: It is slow, tedious and somewhat painful and is not recommended for large areas of hair. Incorrect hair removal can cause ingrown hairs.
  • depilatory cream: They don’t smell very good, dirty and time consuming.
  • hair removal: There is a possibility that wax treatments can be moderately painful because the hair is pulled out by the roots and can also lead to ingrown hairs.

These methods are very time consuming and, what is worse, the results are only temporary, and the treatments must be repeated, month after month.

  • Electrolysis: You can permanently remove hair, but it is an extremely slow, lengthy, and painful method, and more worryingly, it can sometimes leave scars.
  • laser hair removal: This will cost you a bit more, but the results will last a lifetime and it will save you money in the long run since you won’t have to constantly pay for razors, creams or wax strips.

Perhaps that is why so many people, women and men alike, are beginning to turn to laser hair removal as a more permanent solution. This is a very popular method of permanent hair reduction among women, and increasingly among men.

Through laser hair removal, hair is permanently removed from:

  • superior lip: There’s nothing wrong with a good mustache, but not on a woman! Upper lip hair seems more noticeable on women with dark hair, but whether light or dark, we all find it embarrassing.
  • Chin: Women get desperate when hair appears on the chin. They can sprout in young or older women. They are soon uprooted, but as time passes another one inevitably grows in their place! The only problem is that when they grow back, they seem to get thicker.
  • forearms: Sleeveless tops and dresses aren’t really a great idea when you have hairy forearms. Accessories are also a minefield when bracelets and watches pull on arm hair.
  • armpits: In most cultures, people consider women with armpit hair to be unhygienic and unsightly. Most ordinary people would prefer to have hair-free armpits!
  • Legacy: In winter we can hide our hairy legs under pants and stockings. But summer is here and it’s time for the annual ritual of revealing the legacy and we all want them hair free. They are a must if you are applying a fake tan, for a smooth and even application.
  • bikini line: Getting caught with an untrimmed bikini line is every woman’s nightmare. Shaving can cause rashes and bumps, and waxing can irritate the skin and cause small “chicken skin”-like bumps around hair follicles.
  • behind : Affects men and some women. Of all the places on the body where hair grows, for men the back is probably the most universally despised. It seems that some women approve of chest hair, but a sweater full of back hair definitely doesn’t look good!

Laser hair removal laser technology offers a safe and effective way to permanently remove unwanted facial and body hair.

The pigment in the hair follicle absorbs the laser energy and is then converted to heat, causing thermal damage to the follicle without harming the surrounding skin. This results in stopping hair growth in the damaged follicle.

Treatment times depend on the area, from 10 minutes for the upper lip to 45 minutes for the back. Most clients experience minimal discomfort; some may experience a slight stinging sensation as the laser pulses treat the skin.

A topical numbing cream makes treatments more comfortable.

Typically only 30% of your hair is in the growth phase at any given time and the laser can only target these. Therefore, to achieve long-term results, a series of treatments are necessary.
