Are you afraid that your child has ADD or ADH? Are you afraid of the side effects of recipes? If so, you are not alone. There’s good reason to be concerned – it’s your baby, and the side effects can be severe at times. So if this is true for your family, why not try some ways that are proven to help not only children but also adults focus better. Is it guaranteed, of course, not because each person is different, but the recipes aren’t guaranteed either?

Before finding a solution to your child’s focus problem, you must first find the cause. Read carefully below the 2 critical factors that affect a child’s focus and mental abilities?

1. Environment: Chemicals in our environment prevent your child from concentrating because they overload and negatively interact with the child’s neurons; therefore it affects the ability to concentrate and learn. In addition, constant stimulation also affects the child’s concentration because the brain is somewhat overloaded. It can only process a limited amount, and chemicals and unnecessary stimuli are preventing the necessary learning from occurring. This makes the child frustrated and concentrates even less.

  • The chemicals in cleaners are a big culprit for overloading their little bodies and interfering with learning. These chemicals not only cause neurological disorders, but they can also cause physical problems in the lungs and other organs.

2. Nutrition: Nutrition is an important factor in a child’s health. In a world where French fries are the number one vegetable for children, we are sacrificing our children’s nutrition for instant convenience and pleasure. Everything that goes into your baby (young adults mouth is used for a purpose), the purpose should be healthy growth, not confusion and chemical overload for the body. That is why natural and pure is the safest food for children.

  • Don’t be fooled by these ‘sugar-free’ or caffeine-free ‘tricks and never give your child useless and addictive drinks like soda or worse, some unhealthy energy drink. Children are born with their own natural energy. Don’t help them get addicted to things that adults are trying to get away from.
  • Preservatives: Opt for plain meats that are not processed loaded with more chemicals. These only make the child’s body have to filter more trash. That means more work for the liver, kidneys, and spleen.

Now that we know what to stay away from. What should we do to help our precious child with ADD or ADH?

1. Eliminate as much chemicals as possible from the child’s environment. First, swap your cleaners for safe, non-toxic eco-friendly cleaners. If you can, do the same in your child’s school or at least in their classroom.

2. Maximize the nutrition your child eats. You can do this in 2 ways.

First, eliminate the products that your child is currently consuming that are harming him: processed foods (deli meats, etc., unless they do not contain nitrates / nitrites, artificial sugars, caffeine, etc.). It’s easier to switch to something else that your child is excited about. If your child is old enough, let him help you choose from a list of healthy options or help you prepare food. My kids started doing this around the age of 2, if not earlier. As they get older, of course, they can do more. Children love the foods THEY create.

Second, add high-quality supplements that are 100% designed for your child’s needs. We recommend a multivitamin with lactoferrin, an omega that contains ultrapure DHA and omega 3 fatty acids. Ultrapure is essential because omega supplements have a high rate of contamination on the market because many fish contain mercury and other harmful chemicals. We certainly don’t want to give your kids supplements that could harm them. This is also why you should also not give omega supplements to children who have a fish allergy. Another important nutritional element for children is that they should eat 3 to 5 small, balanced meals a day. NEVER skip breakfast!

In summary, to help a child with ADD or ADH to excel, you need to do the following:

  1. Limit the amount of “bad stimuli” around your child (these chemicals come in many forms: chemicals, cleaners, food, loud noises, etc.). Replace them with ‘healthy stimuli’ like non-toxic cleansers, pure foods, soothing sounds, etc.
  2. Increase the child’s nutrition by choosing foods that are less processed or, better yet, unprocessed; eliminating poisonous and addictive foods, such as popsicles, coffee, sugary drinks and choosing milk and filtered water (not bottled water in most cases) and 100% natural juice is also sometimes fine; and add a healthy and safe supplement. We recommend companies that have been around for a long time (50+ years) that haven’t had numerous recalls. Choose only a company that uses at least double-blind peer reviews so that the studies are not biased.

Best of all, these basic tips don’t just work for children with ADD and ADH, but for all adult PLUS children. These tips will teach your kids life-saving habits forever.
