The transfer to London airport will now be more fun from the new Terminal 5 of Heathrow airport. The latest addition to Heathrow Airport is ready for 21st century travel and will be available for passenger air transport from March 27, 2008.

This is the UK’s new flagship airport transfer terminal built for 21st century travel. Inaugurated by Her Majesty the Queen a few days ago, Terminal 5 has been available for air passenger transport since March 27, 2008.

This terminal is being used solely by British Airways since June 2008 as they are moving out of Terminal 1 and 4 entirely (having simplified their current baggage handling problems). This will mean all BA customers will be able to enjoy super-fast check-in and security clearance and be able to board their flight in minutes instead of hours in the summer.

Also applicable to inbound passengers on BA flights is the high speed of exiting the terminal after landing with their luggage. You should be able to leave the terminal within 15 minutes of landing at Terminal 5 with express customs clearance.

At Terminal 5, the planes allow passengers to disembark right next to the terminal instead of hundreds of meters away. Additionally, automation and staff setup will mean fast clearance for all travelers entering Terminal 5.

If you require a transfer from London airport, we strongly recommend that you book your car or minibus before you arrive at the airport, as airport taxis will charge you a fortune for excess luggage if you have it. If you pre-book car or minibus service and select the correct vehicle, then you won’t be surprised with a huge extra cost if you have too much luggage for a black cab to handle!

For your London transportation needs, you have a wide range of vehicles to choose from, such as top of the range Mercedes 3/4 seat sedans, 8 seat limousines, 16 seat minibuses and super long body Navigator limousines, 34 seat coaches seats and also 53-seater coaches.

Choose a company to place your order that has been around for several years, which guarantees reliable service from the drivers and the administration of the transport company.

You can depart from all London airports and UK cruise ports for individual or group travel for private or business purposes. When you choose an established rental company, they will also be able to help you with your tours in London and the rest of the UK.

Extremely popular with American visitors are the boat cruises that depart regularly from Dover, Harwich and Southampton and go to many continents around the world. It shows the modern attitude towards world travel that this sector of the market is growing very well and the fact that more people can afford it.
