It’s a safer version of standard ceramic dinnerware because it’s made of polycarbonate and if it falls on the floor, it doesn’t break. They have a glossy finish that is attractive and ideal for airlines wanting to maintain their elite status.

• Plastic cups. It’s ideal to use plastic cups on an airplane because they can be used as needed and thrown away or recycled after the flight. Also, if it falls it doesn’t break either. This is important as the plane is moving and turbulence can cause glass to fall out.

Airlines require the correct catering equipment for their service in order to make the experience a pleasant one for the passengers. It is important to consider whether the selected catering team will give passengers a good impression of the airline.
