Worgen Leveling Guide – Cataclysm

Worgen are a new alliance race introduced in the Cataclysm expansion. Their starting area is the Ruins of Gilneas and the city of Gilneas, where you will spend your time first trying to eliminate worgen from the starting area. Then your character will be accidentally bitten, you will transform into a worgen, and some guy on the quest line will give you some ability to control when you turn worgen and not.

The Worgens will not have a racial mount, they will be able to run around the map in form. For those who are going to start a Worgen and want to level up through the starting areas as quickly as possible, here are some tips and information to get you started.

1) The new Cataclysm Zones and much of the remade Cataclysm content are now progressions through the stories and, for the most part, cannot be avoided. This means that your character will receive 1 to 4 missions at a time, upon completion those same mission givers will give you a next round of missions as you head to the new area. There will be no use for a step-by-step leveling guide or add-on leveling guide in the game as there will be no variation to the routes.

2) The best thing you can do to level up quickly is to become familiar with the map layouts, the NPC areas, and where you will be heading at each point. Anyone with this information will be able to level up through the starting area, which ends around level 12-15; in a matter of hours.

3) To level up faster than normal, it is also recommended that each player recognize that, although the built-in interface in the maps shows where each mission is located and the area to complete; it was meant to help players. Which is often a bit offered or completely out of place. Don’t take it for granted that the game’s interface will help you level up efficiently.
