There aren’t many options when it comes to choosing a new gaming laptop these days. Everyone I’ve talked to has said the same thing over and over again, “alienware is the way to go”, but if you’re looking for an alternative to the Alienware series, then the Toshiba Qosmio X775-3DV80 is possibly the best. alternative. The Qosmio X775-3DV80 comes with: Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM processor, 17.3″ widescreen display, 8GB DDR3 1333MHz memory, 1.25TB: 500GB (7200rpm, Hybrid 4GB Serial ATA) + 750GB (5400rpm, Serial ATA) hard drive and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560M 3D Vision 1.5GB GDDR5 graphics card, among other things.

Toshiba has traditionally been the company you turn to when you want quality equipment at an affordable price; always producing excellent electronic products and providing excellent customer service. Now, with Toshiba offering a competitive gaming laptop on their website, they seem to provide the best buying experience. It has always been my experience that the best products I buy or the best companies to buy from are the ones with the best customer service, and from personal experience I can say that Toshiba has outperformed time and time again. Being able to buy a quality gaming laptop from Toshiba is amazing. Not to discredit any other company, but some people just prefer a pleasant experience when buying things. It seems like a simple concept, but it gets overlooked.

Customer service aside, having the latest high-performance laptop hardware is a must when thinking about a new gaming laptop; Most notable is the graphics card. The NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560M (3D Vision) 1.5GB GDDR5 graphics card is one of the highest performing cards (if not the highest) my NVIDIA offers. Now the choice of 3D Vision is up to you. I have yet to play 3D Vision online, but I can only assume that it is pretty good. I don’t know if I’d be able to handle it though. If you’re like me, during online play I spend most of my focus on what’s around the corner or what my FPS is. I think I’d lose the 3D vision, but then again, gaming laptops have great video quality for movies, streaming, and whatnot. You may have to give it a try (no pun intended).

A quality product from a quality company, the Toshiba Qosmio X775-3DV80 is a great buy for a new gaming laptop.
