The Galactic Federation and Recent Disappointments

A few days ago I read a channeled update from the Galactic Federation which I found to be very authentic, however the owner of the list that compiles the newsletter in which it was published warned readers to read the update with “great discernment”. The channel must have had a bad day, he supposed. This just goes to show that there is not much agreement in the spiritual community about how the changes in consciousness and in the world will actually occur.

The “Sky Wanderer” update stated that, “The problem exists for you in expecting massive changes in consciousness, in the way your reality is, and in all aspects of your life, as if we are going to come down and shake a magic wand. Changes are gradual and sometimes hard to see, but they are happening all around you all the time, even as you read these words… Look for them in smaller doses and you might not be so disappointed.” . –The Galactic Federation, channeled by Wanderer of the Skies, December 4, 2011

Some people still believe in much more physical intervention from beings off this planet than others. I also feel that some people have experienced a certain level of disappointment from events that were promised but didn’t happen.

A little over a week ago, a medium named Blossom Goodchild has declared that she will cut off communication with the galactic beings she channels because they do not keep their promise to perform a light show in the form of vertical columns of light in the sky before this. the year is over. Even though people have sent him emails explaining that us are the “pillars of light” (and hopefully also, which us needs to shine the light in the form of real, concrete actions that will move the world forward in a new direction), he seems to hold on to his disappointment. Did he ever stop to ask the Federation of Light how exactly they were going to pull off that feat, or why?

This world is not going to be transformed by magic, or by beings from other realms that pounce on us. It will require effort on the part of each of us, and each of us has a unique role to play. (That’s the amazing thing, by the way, that’s the part that’s magical: that each of us has unique gifts that we need to contribute at this time, and that this unique role fits with God’s plan.) And when you are ready to begin your journey and show your readiness by following your promptings and inner guidance quickly and consistently, the magic will happen in the form of favorable synchronicities and new insights that will help you move further in fulfilling your contribution.

There is no such thing as a magic wand or a magic bullet. However, when you experience amazing and incredible synchronicities and new insights, sometimes feel like magic. It feels unbelievably awesome!

When I received channeled messages through a Council of Light medium, it was never about what they were going to do for me or the world. It was about what I was going to do, learn, discover and then share with others. Listening to the channeling turned out to be an extremely small part of the work I have done.

The goal of this Earth Experiment is not simply to discover that our belief that we are alone in this Universe is not true. The point is to wrestle with all kinds of beliefs about who we are and what we’re truly capable of and learn, grow, expand, and ultimately develop self-mastery. Because self-control is what will create a new world. There is simply no way around this.
