Crystals and gemstones correspond and resonate with frequencies of specific colors, tones, and light rays; increase or amplify a particular energy vibration. Rose quartz resonates with rose or pink light, enhancing love, emotional healing, seeing through the eyes of love. Lapis Lazuli resonates with a deep blue light, clearing the channels of communication with others or with the ethereal Realm of Spirit; promoting truth and integrity.

There are various ways that crystals and gemstones can be cleansed and charged or energized by placing them in sunlight; to the light of the Moon; rinsing them under cold running water; placing them in sea salt; burying crystals in the ground for 24 to 48 hours by placing crystals with the points facing the sky; pass crystals over and through incense or a white candle flame; visualize white or violet light in and around the crystals; Place smaller crystals or stones in larger clear quartz or amethyst quartz clusters for 24-48 hours, be sure to cleanse the cluster and recharge or energize the crystal cluster in sunlight or moonlight.

Before you cleanse and recharge your crystals and gems, consider rinsing each crystal or gem under cold running water. If you’re near the ocean, lake, or stream, be sure to hold the crystals firmly or they could “jump” from your fingers into the water!

The intensity of the sun’s rays cleans crystals and precious stones in a few hours. Placing crystals and gemstones in the moonlight, especially during a full moon, removes all lower negative or dirty energies with gentle yet very powerful energy.

If you choose to cleanse your crystals or gemstones with sea salt, keep in mind that sea salt can remove more than just stored negative energy; sea salt can also alter subtle crystals, internal vibration, causing unwanted frequency realignment.

The healing energy of Mother Earth regenerates crystals by recycling or transmuting negative energy, restoring the unique vibrational frequency of your crystals.

Larger clear quartz or amethyst clusters have the ability to cleanse and restore balance to smaller crystals and gemstones by absorbing negative energy. I personally place my crystal pendants in larger crystal clusters and recharge overnight. My cumulus clouds are recharged by the sun every day and by the light of the moon every night when it streams in through the windows.

Pink quartz
Rose quartz, often referred to as the “love crystal,” is part of the quartz family of crystals and gemstones. When rotated, rose quartz varies from a very soft pink to a deeper pink. In its natural form, it appears to glow and can be somewhat translucent when exposed to sunlight. There are often lighter rose quartz veins or striae that appear almost white.

When held, it is possible to begin to experience a sense of harmony within your Heart Chakra, located in the center of your chest. The gentle and subtle energy of Rose Quartz soothes the emotions, allowing emotional wounds to heal more easily.

Rose Quartz will enhance your meditation experience, calming you from within. Place Rose Quartz under your pillow or on your nightstand to help calm your thoughts. A piece of Rose Quartz placed directly on the Heart Chakra will gently draw out emotional pain, allowing healing to begin.

It is possible to release sadness and emotional pain through forgiveness. Love is soft, tender and nurturing, allowing you to heal at your own pace. As the gentle vibration of Rose Quartz resonates with your Heart Center, it begins to lovingly recreate the sacred space within you, reconnecting you with Divine Source Energy. In healing, you will be able to give and receive love first, for yourself. As you continue to heal, a void will be created where pain and sadness were once experienced, giving way to a higher level of self-love, allowing you to give and receive love, if you choose.

As the gentle and nurturing energy of Rose Quartz begins to circulate throughout your Being, a sense of inner peace and harmony enhances comfort and healing at the Soul level. Healing when sought with an open heart, releasing all that has come before, clears the way to new adventures, new experiences with a renewed sense of self-confidence.

Are you willing to release the pain and sadness, real or perceived resentment, forgiving yourself and anyone else involved? To forgive is to free yourself from the confinement in yourself. Forgiveness is freeing you from reliving, from reproducing what caused you pain and suffering. The intention to forgive does not require you to place yourself on the same path or in similar circumstances.
