In order for the navel piercing to last as long as possible, you must follow the following rules:

· You should not bend over during the first few days.

A specialist will apply a bandage, which must be removed in 4-5 hours after a puncture.

· For washing, only antibacterial soap must be used, which must contain Triklozan.

· In order for the healing process to be faster, saline solution should be applied to the wound from time to time. You can pour this solution into a glass and turn it upside down to hold it over your navel or soak a towel with it. Each procedure takes about 15 minutes. The more times you did this, the faster your wound would heal.

· It is necessary to remove all the encrustations that appear, because that would be a place where all the bacteria would develop and would prevent the wound from healing.

Use cleaning solutions

BP-labeled lavender butter reduces sensitivity and stimulates a healing process. Pat the wound with butter with a cue stick and remove all debris with a napkin. It is recommended to use antiseptic compresses all the time within the first two weeks. This would help prevent wound damage and protect from infection.

· Do not wear tight or small clothing or clothing that prevents the passage of air through it.

· It is mandatory to clean a puncture point in case of sweating, since sweat prevents the healing of the wound.

It is not allowed but rather recommended to tan. This would dry out your wound a bit and also help the body produce vitamin D, which stimulates the healing process.

The main problem of wound infection is “playing” with jewelry on the body and dirty hands. Do not touch body jewelry. To look at it, do not move it, but use a mirror.

Do not use alcohol for wound treatment as it can damage the wound. Hydrogen peroxide is also not good as it kills the cells generated. Do not use butters and ointments, which prevent the wound from drying out.

It is forbidden to remove a decoration during the curing period. In this way, you would risk missing a puncture point or damaging it when inserting a decoration on the back.

The bars would be the best decoration until the end of the curing period. The healing period would be extended if navel rings were worn.
