If you are really looking for some souvenir or cheap shopping in the land of Hong Kong, you can head to the Ladies Market. The best part of Hong Kong is that it is completely connected by the MTR subway and therefore any part of Hong Kong can be reached with this fast and inexpensive mode of transport. The nearest station to get to Ladies Market is Mong Kok. Once you get off the train, just ask for directions to Ladies Market. It is only 4 blocks from the station.

Once you enter the Ladies Market, you will see stalls on both sides of the narrow streets. Here you can buy everything from school bags, pencil cases, designer t-shirts, fancy watches, wallets, tights, pants, etc. The prices are quite reasonable, but this is where your bargaining power will come in handy. You can negotiate with the merchants, and at the end of the day, you can save a few hundred dollars. And you can also buy Souvenirs such as Chinese tablecloths, Chinese umbrellas, etc. So you get the best deals only at Ladies Market. However, if you are interested in electronics, don’t forget to visit concrete stores. There are many of them around Ladies Market.

There are some top brand stores next to the Ladies Market. So you can buy everything from the cheapest to the most expensive from one area. There’s the Elements Mall, as well as the Festival Walk Mall, where you get branded products. There are many restaurant and drink options around Mong Kok station. Pizza Hut is very close and this place is packed with people all day long. You will have to wait around 20 minutes to get a table, but the wait is worth it as the place is full of girls and boys ordering their favorite pizzas.

The Ladies Market has the distinction of being the largest open-air shopping area in all of Hong Kong. So if you don’t learn the tricks of trading quickly, traders will have a blast. Therefore, never offer the price they are quoting. Negotiate at least 50%. So if they quote you a price of 100 HKD, you should quote around 50 HKD. Therefore, you can take home many products from the Ladies Market. The market is open until 11.30pm and the crowds usually arrive in the evening.

Besides the Ladies Market, you can also try the Night Market which is located across Temple Street. This is a good market to buy electronic products like digital cameras and cell phones. This market is open throughout the night and therefore rightfully deserves the name of the Night Market.
