LEGO minifigures are among the most popular and well-known toys in the world. Not only do most LEGO sets come with at least one figure that can interact with the set or vehicle you’re going to build, but the company has also been selling unique assortments of them in little blind-packaged bags.

After this concept was introduced, the minifigure idea exploded in popularity, with many toy collectors jumping on board to see what figures they could get their hands on. After several years, the series is still going strong, and minifigures that are exclusive to larger sets are still a major selling point as well.

Let’s say you’ve been into the LEGO collecting game for a while.

It’s not long before they start taking up a lot of real estate in your home.

At some point, you’ll probably have to get a little creative with how you store them.

Unfortunately, many people are forced to start keeping them in bins or drawers, but it’s certainly more fun to have them outside so you can enjoy them and even pick them up from time to time.

With this in mind, the question arises: what are the best ways to display LEGO minifigures?

1 – Get some lifts

If you’ve been lining up your minifigures on the shelves so far, you’ve probably noticed that the ones in the back tend to get lost in the shuffle. This is where shelf risers can really come in handy. You can find many of these online or even create your own out of cardboard or Styrofoam. There are many tutorials online, but it should be self explanatory. The basic concept is to create a ladder shape to sit on top of your shelf, thus allowing all the figures to show through.

2 – Create a diorama

Of course, it could be even more fun to fit all your figures into one giant diorama! There are no rules here. If you have one of the big sets like a castle or a space station, there’s no reason why all your other minifigures couldn’t be thrown into the mix. You can also create your own backgrounds, again with materials like foam, cardboard, spare sheets, and a bit of paint. Even if you just use the green build plate, placing each figure in a massive battle can be tremendous fun.

3 – Mount them on your board

If you have certain LEGO minifigures that you love so much that you’d literally be willing to take them anywhere, why not do it legitimately by mounting some on the dashboard of your car? With some double-sided tape or even glue for the more daring, it should be easy to assemble any minifigure you like. Just be sure to use the stands the figures come with to protect them. Individual booths can be easily accessed online if required.

Minifigures have added a whole new dimension to Lego gaming and collecting. I myself enjoy creating dioramas that I photograph to share on social media. And without them, we would not have enjoyed the enjoyable LEGO movie franchise. The tips in this article will help you make the most of your own collection of LEGO minifigures.
