Interior decoration of a bathroom can both make and break a person’s home. However, if done perfectly, it can be an oasis and a peaceful place that you can easily use as a reflection of your own lifestyle. However, remodeling your bathroom and bathroom wall paneling to get to that point can be quite overwhelming as it simply means you have to remove the wall paneling.

This process is considered easy and, at the same time, difficult depending on the type of adhesive used on the panels and how firmly it adheres to the wall. Best of all, the tools and mechanism are readily available. However, even with this guarantee, the removal procedure can be a bit fiddly and even take a plethora of hours to complete, especially if your bathroom wall panels are wide and the board is glued together. With that said, this is the best way to accomplish this removal process.

• First, make sure you have everything you need to make the process easier and save you time. Once you have everything, use a rag on the floor to collect all the shards. When doing this, make sure you have used protective devices such as gloves, dust mask, and safety mask.

• Start molding, especially if your panels are made from molds. Use a sharp chisel on the edge of the trim and tap it with a hammer to loosen it. Once the trim is loosened, remove the trim. Do this until it is completely removed from the bathroom wall.

• In most cases, the edge of a panel generally meets the bathroom wall. While this is the case, it is worth setting the chisel at this point and hitting it with the hammer until it slides under the board. Once you’re done, simply wiggle the chisel in order to loosen the edge.

• Beneath the edge that has come loose, you will find a pry bar that you will be prompted to pry. However, when doing this, be very careful not to cause gouges in the wall surface below.

• Once done, simply grab the loose board and gently pull it to your side. Keep pulling making sure materials are not thrown away in the process. If you find that the wall panels are a bit stubborn, use the chisel to loosen the bond between the board and the wall a little step by step.

• Lastly, open the doors and windows so there is some ventilation in the bathroom. Spread some adhesive remover on it and let it sit for some time. Then remove it and rinse the wall well with clean water and a damp towel.
