How to get rid of cockroaches

Be sure to use soapy water and thoroughly sweep up any food. Always keep food stored and well sealed. Keep your cabinets clean of food debris. Keep recyclable materials like soda cans outside and do the same for your trash. Always wash and clean countertops, stove and table after use.

Roach hiding places can be almost anywhere, as they can fit into tiny spaces. You’ll want to keep the drawers clean and tidy. Do not use shelf paper or other lining on cabinets. Store unused clothing in tightly closed containers. Store unused furniture outside. Repair cracks or other openings around pipes. Repair the peeling of the wallpaper.

Water is a mainstay for roaches and you have to make sure they can’t reach it. Repair plumbing leaks, keep drains clean, and dry the area around the sink after use.
