End of the year party for one

Being alone on New Years Eve doesn’t have to be so bad. In fact, it can be a wonderful thing. New Years Eve can be the perfect opportunity to renew and prepare for the coming year. Here are some party package ideas for one:

Deciding to approach it as an evening of self-care.

– Make it a ritual to let go of the old and bring in the new.

– Center the night around your bathroom and bedroom.

Spread the essential oil “Transformation” (see below).

–Buy a nice diary in which to write reflections and projections.

– Order from your favorite Chinese restaurant or sushi

– Have a special champagne glass to drink sparkling apple cider or champagne.

– Perform a dry brush body scrub to exfoliate skin (let go of the old)

– Take a lavender bath and play soft music as you visualize the abundant new year.

– Use your favorite body lotion on damp skin after bathing

– Call and view your new resolutions while applying a lovely lotion and your favorite essential oils (shout them out loud, no one will hear you)

– Wear a nice and comfortable lounge suit, made of silk or satin

–Make your own maraca for when the clock strikes 12 and dance around your room (To make a maraca: you need 2 paper plates, dried beans, and masking tape. Fill one plate with a handful of dried beans, place the other plate on top, upside down and tape down, making sure to seal all the way around).

– Make an edible licorice necklace (read about the health benefits of licorice and ask for gluten-free licorice
