Crab and spinach lasagna in a crock pot

What do you need:

  • 1 package dry lasagna noodles

  • 1 bunch fresh spinach, chopped

  • 15 fresh mushrooms, sliced

  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese grated

  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese

  • 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese

  • 1 cup imitation crab meat

Pour 1 cup of Alfredo sauce into a slow cooker then top with a layer of lasagna noodles. Spread some spinach, mushrooms, crab meat, half the ricotta cheese, and half the cottage cheese on top of the noodles. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients. It should end with a layer of lasagna noodles followed by the remaining Alfredo sauce. Cover and cook for 2 hours and 15 minutes on high heat. When done, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over lasagna and cook for 30 more minutes.

Creamy fish soup simmered

What do you need:

  • 1 can of evaporated milk

  • 1/4 kilogram halibut, cut into small pieces

  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped

  • 2 large carrots, diced

  • 2 large potatoes, diced

  • 3 celery stalks, diced

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 6 cups of chicken broth

  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup of scallops

  • 1 cup fresh corn kernels

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • Ground black pepper to taste

In a skillet, cook the bacon 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown. Add the onion and garlic and cook until tender. Transfer the bacon mixture to a crock pot. Add the chicken broth, carrots, potatoes, celery, and corn. Cover and cook for 3 hours on high. Add the shrimp, scallops, and halibut to the pot and cook for 1 more hour. When ready, add hot evaporated milk before serving.

Beans and tuna in a clay pot

What do you need:

  • 1 kilogram navy beans, soaked overnight and drained

  • 2 cans white tuna in water, drained and shredded

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 2 sprigs of basil finely chopped

  • 6 cups of water

  • 2 cups diced tomatoes

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Heat the olive oil in a skillet and cook the garlic for 1 minute. Discard the garlic and then place the beans in the oil, stirring to coat. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add the water, cover and cook for 1 hour at high temperature. Reduce heat to low and cook for 4 to 6 more hours. Add the tuna, basil, and tomatoes, then season with salt and pepper.
